Job Title : DocuSign CLM Admin/ Developer

Location : New Jersey (Hybrid)

DocuSign CLM Technical Proficiency (1)

Needs hands-on experience with the DocuSign CLM platform (formerly SpringCM), especially how templates are created, configured, and maintained. This includes understanding how templates behave within workflows and how configuration choices affect downstream contract processing.

CLM Template Configuration (1)

Coding templates in CLM includes:

Building forms
Defining fields in templates
Building contract templates

Metadata Management (4)

Working with data fields:

Mapping fields to contract metadata
Ensuring accurate data population and reuse - This supports automation and integrations.

Problem Solving (1)

Template coding involves evaluating:
Field population issues
Determining if it has a break in the workflow
Unexpected behavior during contract generation
Being able to troubleshoot and optimize templates

Integration Awareness (e.g., Salesforce) (3)

While not coding integrations directly, template developers must understand how templates interact with integrated systems so data mappings and field dependencies work correctly.

NICE TO HAVE:

Workflow Design Knowledge (4)

You must understand how templates plug into automated workflows, including approvals and routing logic, so that fields, roles, and clauses behave correctly at each workflow stage.

eSignature Template and Envelopes (5)

Coding templates in eSignature requires:

Creating and maintaining templates
Supporting advanced sending features (bulk send, Power Forms)
Troubleshooting envelope routing and recipient issues

Insight Knowledge (3)

Understanding basic contract terminology (e.g., clauses, governing law, indemnity)
Ability to navigate the DocuSign Insight UI (dashboard, search results, document detail)
Search logic skills, including:
Boolean operators (AND, OR)
Phrase matching
Wildcards and proximity searches
Metadata filters (e.g., contract type, date ranges)
Develop custom models based on requirements gathered from various business use cases.
