Junior Business Analyst - IT Transformation Project - Rail & Transportation

Contract outside IR35 from £250 - £325 per day - 3 days a week on-site in Central London

Our client a working on a public sector project, for a Transport & Rail provider, who are migrating station security & connectivity.

The right person will be able to work in the City of London three days a week and, ideally, have experience working on similar Rail or Transport projects.

The Junior Business Analyst will assist the project team in project preparation and analysis

activities under direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, document, process and validate available data under routine supervision.

• Assist in data preparation and analysis activities under direction.

• Participate in process mapping exercises and help identify areas for potential improvement.

• Assist project team in delivery activities, including workshop/interview coordination and preparation, sourcing information, and logging and monitoring of actions and decisions.

• Assist in generating process documentation, standard reports and insights using established tools and methods.

• Support the implementation of minor process changes and improvements.

The right candidate will have the following:

• Knowledge of frequently used business analysis methodologies and techniques.

• Proven experience in supporting project managers and more senior analysts in data collection and data cleansing.

• Knowledge of rail/transport or similar or similair estates and organisational structures.
