A growing organization in south Denver is seeking a Senior IT Manager to join their team on a contract with potential to be hired permanently. This opportunity has arisen due to the current manager relocating out of state, and the organization is looking for a local professional who can remain on-site and actively engaged in the day-to-day management of the IT environment.

This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the company’s IT infrastructure, playing a critical role in supporting ongoing operations and enabling continued international growth. This person will have the ability to directly influence the organization’s technology strategy and see the measurable impact of their work across the business.

In addition to leading the infrastructure strategy and long-term technology vision, this individual will oversee enterprise-wide technology implementations and provide ongoing governance and optimization of the company’s internal platforms. The position also offers strong potential for advancement into senior leadership or executive-level technology roles as the organization continues to expand.

The IT Manager will wear multiple hats and provide a wide array of expertise to deliver high-performing technology platforms. To accomplish this, the successful candidate must be equally adept at troubleshooting technology problems for remote offices as they are in providing leadership-level strategy and management of IT operations.

Here’s an overview of the compensation package – Contract Hourly Pay: $80-86/hour • Base salary IF hired perm: $150-180k with Discretionary Bonus •EXCELLENT Healthcare• VERY Competitive PTO

***This will be a hybrid remote/on-site position; as such only local candidates in the Denver area will be considered.****

General responsibilities:

Develop infrastructure strategy/policy for growth and scalability, implement secure networks and server solutions, and oversee system stability and performance.
Propose hardware/software solutions and system developments to accomplish the company's business objectives.
Ensure that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely, as well as provide hands-on troubleshooting/support when necessary. • Manage internal team and vendors as well as plan and implement infrastructure and disaster recovery strategy while maintaining technical security for the company.

General Requirements:

10+ years of managing IT infrastructure and operations, planning and implementing infrastructure and disaster recovery strategy while maintaining security compliance for the company.
5+ years of technical team and vendor management.
Advanced technology skills and in-depth knowledge of technology infrastructure. architecture, design, and configuration for WAN/LAN/WLAN networking, cloud, storage, endpoint computing, and operating systems (WINOS/MacOS).
Experienced with various cloud platforms: Azure (preferred), GCP, AWS, ETC.
Experience building budgets and managing budgets and common financial processes, and a demonstrated record of staying within budgets.
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated reliability, and attention to detail.
