We are leveraging state-of-the-art AI and patented polymer MEMS technology to develop a revolutionary diagnostic ultrasound device aimed at transforming clinical screening and remote patient monitoring. Our proprietary polymer-based Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasound Transducers (polyCMUTs), have unique characteristics that enable the use of ultrasound in applications not previously possible.

We are an enthusiastic interdisciplinary team, looking to expand our development as we prepare for the next stage of growth.

Why This Role Matters:

This is not just another engineering job. It is an opportunity to shape the future of healthcare. We are gearing up to take our groundbreaking ultrasound innovation from the lab to the hands of real-world users.

You will play a key role in turning our leading edge ultrasound technology into a revolutionary portable medical device for patient monitoring. This is a highly impactful, hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and contributing to medical technologies that will shape the future of health care.

What You Will Do:

Develop ultrasound imaging systems integrating software and hardware
Define architectures and develop specifications for systems and major components
Build, refine and debug diagnostic ultrasound imaging products for clinical applications
Research and implement advanced ultrasound imaging methods and data processing techniques
Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers and clinicians to guide the product through clinical trials toward device authorization

What You Will Bring:

Experience integrating complex systems comprising hardware and software components
Experience developing ultrasound imaging systems
Experience in signal and image processing
Experience in high-level programming languages, e.g. MATLAB
Skills in scripting / coding and rapid prototyping at the system level
Experience developing and deploying medical devices, including risk management, formal verification and validation
Experience with clinical trial, field testing, in the context of product development
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience and desire in working in multi-stakeholder environments.
Excellent communications and cross-functional project management skills.

What Will Set You Apart:

Experience or advanced training in ultrasound devices, systems and applications - a Ph.D, or a combination of an M.Sc with a minimum of 5 years in a directly related field. Understanding of ultrasound physics, beamforming methods and image reconstruction algorithms
Hands-on experience with ultrasound research systems and SDKs
3D visualization for medical applications
Knowledge of, or experience in, ultrasound transducer design, fabrication and characterization
Familiarity with multiphysics simulation tools - Ansys, Comsol, etc.
Familiarity with ultrasound imaging simulation tools (Field II, K-wave, etc)

What’s In It For You:
