Job Description

We are seeking a software engineer to design, validate, troubleshoot, and debug software for new products and enhancements; validate across operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, databases, and related tools; assess hardware compatibility; apply intermediate subject-matter expertise to solve problems and provide analysis, working independently within an established framework.

Responsibilities

Designs and Validate enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
Qualifies software using inhouse or third-party tools and automates the procedures for validating any coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
Executes and writes testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portions of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and work with cross functional team to get them rectified and re-validates the same.
Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop dependable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

Education And Experience Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
2+ years’ experience with software systems design tools and languages, working knowledge of routing, switching, and security protocols, and automation skills in Python and Selenium.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms and automation; familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
Working knowledge or experience in AI.

Knowledge And Skills

Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
Validate and or design software systems running on multiple platform types.
Software systems testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
