Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage end-to-end deployment plans, including scheduling, planning, and controlling the deployment process.
Integrate deployment management practices into the delivery lifecycle to ensure reliable and repeatable IT services.
Provide technical recommendations to improve efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security across deployment processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, evaluate, operationalize, and report deployment deliverables.
Establish infrastructure for tracking and monitoring updates, changes, and releases, and convert data into reports, schedules, and recommendations.
Provide clear and reliable communication and reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
Manage correspondence and communicate deployment impacts, risks, and dependencies effectively.
Provide subject matter expertise to IT support teams and assist with remediation and collision avoidance strategies.
Identify and address control and communication failures to prevent future incidents.
Deliver status updates and progress reports to senior leadership.
Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, and operational issues.
Utilize IT workflow and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence to manage tasks and documentation.
Work across teams using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
Support DevOps and continuous delivery practices to enhance deployment efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in deployment management, IT service management, or IT project management.
8+ years of experience in an information systems environment including service management, systems analysis, or application development.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT service management lifecycles.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong executive communication skills (written and verbal).
Experience developing strategies, operational plans, and resolutions for complex IT challenges.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
Good understanding of DevOps and Continuous Delivery principles.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
Strong knowledge of release management and change management processes.
Ability to manage multiple deployments and stakeholders simultaneously.
