Job Specifications
Project Planning & Delivery Management
• Define and manage the end‑to‑end migration plan, including development, QA, non‑production and production readiness phases. Must be proactive in identifying tasks as the team is new to cloud migration.
• Create intakes to engage resources (Consumers) and ensure that all teams submit estimates and identify their Dev and QA Leads.
• Establish delivery milestones, timelines, and dependencies across development, testing, infrastructure, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate phased delivery (e.g., development completion → QA → production rollout) to minimize risk and business disruption. Ability to manage the different phases in parallel is required.
• Ensure delivery remains on schedule and within approved scope, escalating deviations as required.
Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Coordination
• Serve as the central point of coordination across engineering, architecture, platform/cloud, security (SPIR), QA, operations (MOR), and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment between the Digital Core technical teams and business owners (Consumers) to ensure migrated services meet functional and enterprise expectations.
• Maintain effective communication cadences and provide clear, executive‑level status reporting. Deliver Weekly status report to all stakeholders and Monthly report to Operating Committee.
Governance, Risk & Dependency Management
• Identify, monitor, and proactively manage project risks, with particular focus on migration‑specific risks such as:
Legacy system dependencies
Data integrity and service continuity
Integration with downstream consumers
• Manage critical dependencies between on‑prem systems and cloud services to avoid downstream delays.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security, privacy, and cloud standards.
Cloud Migration Enablement
• Support the transition from on‑prem infrastructure to cloud‑native services, ensuring teams understand migration scope, sequencing, and constraints.
• Reinforce cloud‑first and reusable service principles, helping align delivery with long‑term modernization and cost‑reduction objectives.
• Coordinate infrastructure readiness (e.g., environments, access, tooling) required to support development, QA, and production deployment.
Quality & Readiness Oversight
• Ensure clear entry and exit criteria between phases (development, QA, production).
• Coordinate QA readiness, including test planning, defect/variance triage processes, and deployment readiness reviews.
• Validate that documentation, support models, and operational handoffs are in place ahead of production cutover.
Financial & Value Management
• Track project progress against approved budget and resourcing assumptions.
• Ensure project properties in clarity is complete, accurate and up to date.
• Manage the team list, forecasts run cost plans first week of each month.
• Provide justification/rationale for any cost variance between forecast and actual.
• Run PM Audit Attestation.
Executive Reporting & Decision Support
• Provide clear, concise updates to sponsors and leadership on progress, risks, and key decisions – Monthly.
• Provide status updates to the project team and consumers – Weekly.
• Prepare leadership for upcoming milestones (e.g., QA start, production deployment).
• Enable timely decisions through transparent data, options, and impact assessments.
