Experienced in IT equipment rack and stack
Skilled in server and blade hardware troubleshooting
Performs component replacement for servers and related hardware
Proficient in structured cabling
Handles tape media management
Writes and maintains infrastructure technical documentation
Develops and maintains operational and procedural manuals
Manages asset inventory
Oversees procurement management, including logistics, goods receipt, and vendor management
Knowledgeable in Data Center technologies, including:
Cooling systems
Environmental management
Cold aisle / hot aisle containment
Power infrastructure
UPS systems
Distribution boards
PDUs (Power Distribution Units)
Fire detection and suppression systems
Data center safety and health standards
CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) or higher certification preferred
General knowledge of:
Servers and blade systems
Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
Cloud technologies
Backup solutions
Storage technologies
Network technologies
Experience in enterprise service management processes, including:
Incident Management
Change Management
Problem Management
Service Request Management
Technical problem analysis and solutioning
Change planning, coordination, and execution
Process management techniques
Leading and driving local initiatives and projects
Performing root cause analysis
Conducting quality assurance
Supporting information and site security audits
Coordinating and managing vendors for on-site activities
