SENIOR MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER – REMOTE US – VC-BACKED AI STARTUP

Role: Senior ML Engineer

Location: Remote (United States)

Employment: Full-time

Salary: $220,000 base (negotiable for the right candidate)

We are partnering with a VC-backed AI start-up building production machine learning systems and LLM-powered products for enterprise applications. The company is expanding its engineering team and seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with deep experience deploying ML models in production environments.

This is a high-impact role for engineers who thrive in start-up environments and enjoy solving challenging problems in AI and machine learning.

Responsibilities

Design, train, and deploy machine learning models in production
Build scalable ML pipelines for training and inference
Work with engineering and product teams to integrate ML capabilities
Optimize models for performance, scalability, and reliability
Contribute to LLM pipelines, AI agents, or advanced ML systems
Stay current with ML research and apply best practices

Requirements

5+ years experience in machine learning or applied AI engineering
Strong Python expertise and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
Experience deploying ML models to production environments
Knowledge of ML infrastructure and cloud platforms
Experience with LLMs, NLP, or deep learning
Ability to work autonomously in startup environments

Compensation

Base salary: $220,000 (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
Competitive equity package
Fully remote (US-based)
