**Job Title:** Data Product Manager
**Role Summary:**
Senior professional responsible for leading the assessment, scoping, and design of Data & Business Intelligence initiatives within a Data‑as‑a‑Service function. Acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to define, prioritize, and deliver data products that support enterprise‑wide performance and transformation goals.
**Expectations:**
- 6‑10 years of experience in data, BI, or data product management roles.
- Proven ability to engage fluently in French and English with both business and technical audiences.
- Demonstrated expertise in data modelling, end‑to‑end data lifecycle, and ERP (SAP) environments.
- Strong facilitation skills for cross‑functional workshops and structured assessments.
- Ability to produce clear functional architecture, value propositions, budgets, roadmaps, and go‑to‑project proposals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead assessment and scoping of Data & BI projects, from small improvements to strategic programmes.
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders to capture business ambitions, challenges, and requirements.
- Document functional architecture, data product concepts, and design business (Silver) data layers.
- Coordinate contributions from Technical Architects, Data/BI Engineers, and other DaaS team members.
- Define solution value, expected outcomes, and prepare budgets, roadmaps, and delivery plans.
- Formalize final implementation proposals (“Go‑to‑project” packages).
**Required Skills:**
- Communication: Excellent French & English (written and verbal).
- Data Expertise: Expert‑level SQL, data modelling, data analysis, product management; advanced data architecture, Power BI, SAP.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong exploratory data analysis, semantic/business layer design.
- Stakeholder Management: Customer‑focused, strong engagement, collaborative across business and technical teams.
- Organizational: Proven scoping and methodology skills for large data ecosystems.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- No specific certifications required; relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, PMP, SAP) are a plus but not mandatory.
