Location: : Head Office, White City Place, West London

Contract Type: 3 Month Fixed Term Contract - Full time, 37.5 hours per week

About Us:

ME+EM is one of the UK’s fastest-growing luxury fashion brands. In addition to a thriving global digital presence, we operate flagship stores in London and Edinburgh, concessions within Harrods and Selfridges, and have recently expanded with new store openings in the U.S.

At ME+EM we are an entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate group of people. We work hard, are enthusiastic to learn and are not afraid to take risks. Everyone contributes to our success at all levels, and that precisely what makes being a member of the team so rewarding.

Our office and stores are always busy and fast paced, but we work just as hard to make sure it’s fun, with social activities and biannual parties. We pride ourselves on being approachable, supportive, and welcoming and ensure that everyone’s hard work is rewarded. It takes all these things to build a strong, successful business and our door is always open to new talent ready to contribute to our growth and evolution.

About the Role

ME+EM are looking for a talented Product Manager to join our Digital team and lead one of our three internal cross-functional squads. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious product person to help evolve our website and provide exceptional customer experiences befitting a modern luxury brand. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the squad and stakeholders across the business, and be responsible for ensuring that the squad is delivering valuable improvements to our website in a scalable, reliable and agile way that's aligned to our product and business strategy. At ME+EM all of our engineers are in house, and our setup of small, autonomous squads means we are effective at delivering continuous improvement to the website and overall tech stack. The product managers are key to the success of each squad, and take the lead day to day ensuring the right work is prioritised and delivered. Each squad contains a product manager and 3-4 software engineers, plus a shared product designer. The product managers take the lead on prioritisation and delivery, which allows us to move at pace.

Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for one of the squads, ensuring it aligns with our overall product strategy and prioritising the right things based on customer value
Make strategic, data-driven decisions as to where to focus the squad’s effort, and be comfortable making tough decisions when we have competing priorities
Scope out features in a quality, user-centric centric way
Gather requirements from stakeholders and other team members, and synthesise them into clear deliverables for the engineers in the squad
Manage the day to day operation of the squad; leading agile ceremonies and being the go-to point of contact
Anticipate blockers and get ahead of them to maintain squad velocity
Motivate the team to deliver quality work at pace

Skills:

Prior experience working in ecommerce or in a digital-first user-focussed business
Experience leading, or working with, a multidisciplinary squad
Solid understanding of agile software delivery and continuous improvement
An understanding of tech/product culture, and how to foster that culture within a team
Comfortable gathering and analysing data to support product decisions
An ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Employee Benefits:

33 days annual leave for full time employees (25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays)
A day off to celebrate your birthday.

Group Life Insurance
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Length of Service Award

About the Company

ME+EM was founded by Clare Hornby in 2009 to offer designer quality at a fair price. Frustrated by how hard it was to find flattering, on-trend and beautifully-made clothes, Clare made the decision to offer women a solution to this sartorial problem. Employing her extensive consumer insight from 15 years in the advertising industry, along with a lifetime’s love of fashion and an obsession with fit, Clare launched ME+EM. We insist on clothes that really do it all. We believe that fashion only works if you can wear a piece ti... Know more
