Akkodis is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer (AWS) for a Contract job with a client in Chandler, AZ(Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Rate Range: $80/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Overview:
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise who has a deep understanding of cloud security, architecture, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipeline management, and developing reusable infrastructure modules in AWS. This role will focus on integrating security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment.
Develop and manage Terraform modules for infrastructure as code.
Integrate security best practices into DevOps pipelines and cloud architecture.
Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure and efficient deployments.
Implement security controls, monitoring, and compliance standards within the AWS environment.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Solid understanding of cloud security principles and security architecture.
Experience developing Terraform modules and reusable infrastructure components.
Knowledge of containerization and cloud-native technologies is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
