Job Description

Think of this person as the Architect and RobotBuilder Instead of manually clicking buttons to set up the cloud they write recipes code that build and manage your entire Google Cloud environment automatically

What They Do The Big Three Tools

To keep it simple here is how those three specific tools work together in your cloud build
Terraform The Architect They use this to write the blueprint for your cloud house It automatically builds the walls floors and roof servers databases and networks in Google Cloud
Ansible The Interior Decorator Once the house is built they use Ansible to go inside and set everything up It installs the software configures the settings and makes sure every server is ready for work
Python The MultiTool They use Python to bridge any gaps If two systems don’t talk to each other or if they need to create a custom automated task like a daily security report they write a script in Python to handle it

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code Replace manual setup with automated scripts Terraform so we can recreate our entire cloud environment in minutes if needed Integrate with a proprietary platform written by a client with a front end written in React
Automated Setup Use Ansible to ensure that every application we migrate is installed perfectly and identically every single time
Custom Tooling Write Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks like moving data or turning off unused resources to save money

What Were Looking For

The Automation Mindset You hate doing the same thing twice Youd rather write a script to do it for you
Technical Stack You are fluent in Terraform for building infrastructure Ansible for configuring it and Python for general coding and automation
Google Cloud Experience You know how to apply these tools specifically to GCP services like Cloud Run GCE or GKE
Reliability You build systems that are self healing and easy to maintain"
