Overview
We are looking for a GenAI engineer to lead the development of a large language model assistant for sales advisors in the insurance domain. You will design GenAI pipelines, oversee model evaluation and prompt engineering, and partner with engineering teams to bring solutions into production.
Key Responsibilities
Architect LLM solutions (RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings, evaluation).
Build scalable GenAI microservices and integrate systems.
Advanced prompt engineering, agents, safety guardrails.
Evaluate models for performance/risk/cost.
Prep data with teams; ensure insurance compliance/security.
Mentor juniors; define best practices.
Partner with stakeholders on requirements/docs; oversee RAG data pipelines.
Present performance/impact; drive adoption/change management.
Productionize with teams.
Qualifications
6+ yrs ML/NLP/AI; 2+ yrs GenAI/LLMs (OpenAI, Azure, Anthropic, Llama).
Expert in RAG, vector DBs, embeddings, evaluation.
Python, data pipelines, cloud (Azure pref.); production deployments.
Insurance/finance knowledge an asset.
Strong SQL/data modeling; NoSQL/BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
Classical ML/stats; translate tech to business.
BS CS/Math/Eng or equiv.; top problem-solving/comms/leadership.
