Iris's client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst / Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity.

Our client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Position: Business Analyst / Project Manager

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 - 4 Days onsite/week)

Duration: 12+ Months Open-ended long-term contract

Job Description

Product Requirements: Write and maintain detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), defining functional and non-functional specifications.
UX Collaboration: Work closely with the UX team to ensure designs align with business requirements and user needs, providing clear direction and feedback.
Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with Development Leads, Scrum Masters, and key business stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and priorities.
Agile Execution: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Delivery Oversight: Track project milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

5+ years as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid BA/PM in technology or financial services.
Skilled in writing PRDs, user stories, and managing Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Proven ability to guide UX teams in delivering user-centric designs.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application in financial services.
Familiarity with other technologies, infrastructure or development based.
Understanding of Capital Markets products and workflows.
