Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a QA resource to support API-based integrations between multiple vendors and internal teams at a leading insurance company. The primary responsibility will be to test APIs created by one vendor and validate their consumption by another vendor's system, while acting as a hands-on QA partner across internal technology and investments teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Test APIs developed by an external vendor and validate their consumption by a second vendor system (e.g., integrating with APIs from one vendor internally and exposing those APIs to a second vendor through our own platform).

· Perform QA activities focused on API testing, with opportunities for SOME test automation where appropriate

· Set up and manage test data (including data setup in internal platforms such as Unitrax) to support API testing scenarios.

· Support integration efforts between vendors by helping identify, troubleshoot, and validate end-to-end workflows, similar to prior integration support models (supporting vendor integration rather than owning API development)

· Coordinate closely with two external vendors to help get systems working together, including validating API calls and responses.

· Work independently with Internal technology teams, the investments business team, and external vendors to clarify requirements, validate outcomes, and ensure expectations are aligned.

· Identify where automation can add value, particularly for API testing, while recognizing that some aspects of the work may not be fully defined at the outset.

· Maintain focus on immediate project priorities and timelines, avoiding unnecessary scope expansion unless explicitly required.

· 80% heads down testing, 20% meetings, and strategy
