Contract: 8+ months

Overview:
We seek a seasoned Salesforce Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, user-focused Salesforce and integration solutions for a critical early education integration system. This hands-on leadership role bridges business needs with robust architecture, collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and Agile teams to drive innovative enterprise solutions aligned with digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions, guiding technical strategy, execution, and complex integrations with external systems via APIs.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, tech leads, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into cost-effective, secure architectures.
Ensure compliance with data security, performance standards, backups, and risk mitigation; recommend standard vs. custom Salesforce functionality.
Lead code reviews, design workshops, release planning, backlog refinement, user story decomposition, and acceptance criteria in Agile environments.
Drive Salesforce environment setup, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices using industry-standard tools.
Produce high-quality technical documentation, data models, solution diagrams, and accessibility-compliant designs (e.g., WCAG 2.1).
Mentor development teams on platform best practices, object-oriented patterns, data migration/ETL, mobile architecture, and testing.
Required Experience
Salesforce Technical Architect/Application Architect certification.
Salesforce Integration Architect certification.
Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification.
Copado certification.
MuleSoft I and II certifications.
10+ years in requirements analysis, business process design, and architecting complex Salesforce solutions.
Expertise in Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows, SOSL/SOQL, admin functions, advanced patterns, unit testing, and configurations.
Proven guidance of development teams on platform technology, object-oriented languages (e.g., Apex, Java, JavaScript), data migration/ETL, mobile solutions, Shield, Lightning, DevOps/CI/CD, GitHub/BitBucket, and Agile methodologies.
5+ years in accessibility compliance (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and version control.
