Role Overview and Requirements
The Demand and Supply Implementation Planner will collaborate directly with clients to implement our advanced product, sales, and inventory planning and control solution. This role demands deep operational experience in demand and supply planning, as well as the ability to demonstrate proficiency in creating robust demand plans and inventory master plans using Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will apply expertise in advanced Excel functions to analyse client data, then use our planning tool to develop tailored forecasts and optimise inventory strategies, ensuring seamless implementations and effective outcomes for each client.
They will translate client business requirements into our Plan & Control solutions, guide clients through implementation, advise on best practices, and demonstrate solution functionality. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills are essential, as the planner must be adept at managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, helping users manage change, and delivering measurable improvements in supply chain performance.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of operational experience in Supply Chain Management, Planning, Business, Inventory Management, Finance, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and chart creation.
Demonstrated ability to create, maintain, and optimise demand plans and inventory master plans within Excel, translating business requirements into actionable supply chain strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decision-making.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Planning tools experience an advantage

Preferred QualificationsP
Experience with supply chain analytics or business intelligence tools is highly desirable.
Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) is an advantage.

They should be comfortable collaborating across teams to deliver operational excellence and ensure optimal inventory management.
This UK-based part-time role offers a hybrid schedule with remote work and periodic visits to client sites as necessary. Candidates should be flexible for varied arrangements and prepared to travel for onsite work in person, facilitating strong collaboration and successful outcomes.
