Mondrian Alpha have partnered with a leading global hedge fund to hire a Graduate into a Junior Finance Analyst role.

The successful candidate will join as a junior member of the team supporting a range of accounting, reporting and operational finance activities. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with, and be mentored by, highly experienced finance professionals while gaining broad exposure to how finance operates within a sophisticated global investment platform. You will interact regularly with internal teams and outsourced service providers to help ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and operational processes.

Alongside core reporting responsibilities, the team is investing heavily in improving the scalability and automation of its finance infrastructure. As a result, the role provides the opportunity to work with SQL, Python and modern data tools to help develop automated reporting frameworks, improve data accessibility and enhance finance processes across the firm’s bespoke systems. This combination of technical reporting exposure and involvement in building next-generation finance systems makes the role particularly attractive for candidates interested in both accounting and data-driven finance.

The firm is looking for highly academic candidates who are interested in building a career in finance. Candidates should have some exposure to SQL and/or Python through their studies and a foundational understanding of accounting, either through an internship or academic coursework.
