Site Logistics Manager (Data Centre Project) – Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics operations on a major Data Centre construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site logistics across multiple trades, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of deliveries, materials, and personnel across the project.

This role requires someone with large-scale project experience, ideally on data centres, infrastructure, or major commercial builds.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall site logistics strategy and daily operations
Coordinate deliveries, storage areas, and material handling
Control site access, traffic management, and logistics planning
Oversee subcontractor logistics coordination across all trades
Attend and contribute to Daily Activity Briefings (DABs)
Plan and manage site facilities and welfare logistics
Maintain site logistics plans and sequencing
Ensure health & safety compliance for logistics operations
Liaise with project management, construction teams, and subcontractors
Resolve logistical conflicts between trades and deliveries

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Logistics Manager on major construction projects
Experience on Data Centre projects or large complex builds strongly preferred
Strong ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades
Experience managing high-volume deliveries and constrained sites
Strong knowledge of site safety and construction logistics planning
Excellent communication and leadership skills
