Executive Assistant to Brad Formsma

I Like Giving

We’re looking for someone who loves getting things done, staying organized, and helping big ideas move forward.

This role supports Brad Formsma, founder of I Like Giving. Brad spends much of his time meeting with leaders, donors, and partners who care about raising a generation that loves Jesus and lives generously. The Executive Assistant helps make sure the right people connect, the right things happen, and nothing important falls through the cracks.

If you’re someone who notices details, follows through quickly, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping a mission move forward, you’ll thrive in this role.

This position plays a key part in helping Brad stay focused on relationships, vision, and impact while the day to day logistics run smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Calendar & Scheduling

Help manage Brad’s calendar by scheduling calls, meetings, and travel. The goal is simple: the right meetings with the right people at the right time.

Meeting Coordination

Set up Zoom calls, help prepare simple agendas when needed, and make sure Brad is ready for upcoming conversations.

Travel Coordination

Book flights, hotels, and transportation for trips and speaking events so travel is smooth and stress free.

Communication Support

Help manage communication through email, Slack, and other platforms so responses are timely and professional.

Donor & Relationship Organization

Keep track of important relationships by organizing notes, contact details, and follow ups so Brad can stay connected with key partners and donors.

Follow Through

When something needs to get done, you help make sure it happens. That might mean coordinating with team members or tracking next steps.

Project Support

Assist with keeping initiatives moving forward by helping gather information, tracking progress, and keeping things organized behind the scenes.

You enjoy helping people and making things run smoothly.

You take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do.

You follow through and finish what you start.

You’re comfortable interacting with high level leaders, donors, and partners.

Work Style

This is a flexible remote role.

We care much more about reliability and responsiveness than rigid hours.

Brad typically schedules most calls between 10 AM and 3 PM CST, so full availability during that window is important.

When Brad is traveling, your role mainly shifts to helping ensure he gets where he needs to go and that communication stays organized.
