Role Title: Workday ERP Project Manager

Clearance: SC Clearance – Mandatory

Location: UK-Based, Hybrid (Onsite required during key phases)

Role Purpose

The Project Manager will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a phased Workday ERP implementation covering Finance, HR, Procurement and Payroll. The role leads mobilisation through to final Go-Live and Hypercare within an 18-month delivery window, ensuring alignment to Adopt-Not-Adapt principles and Secure by Design requirements.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities

Lead overall programme execution and day-to-day SI delivery activities. Develop and maintain the integrated baseline plan, RAID log, and dependency management framework across Solution, Data Migration and Client-Side partners. Manage governance reporting to Programme Board, Steering Group and Technical Design Authority. Oversee delivery of integrations, reporting, analytics, four Data Migration cycles and three Parallel Payroll Runs. Ensure statutory, regulatory and security controls are embedded. Coordinate phased go-live strategy, cutover readiness and hypercare planning. Ensure knowledge transfer to retained AMS capability prior to BAU transition.

Experience Required

10+ years ERP programme delivery experience. Proven leadership of multi-module Workday implementation. Experience in regulated or public sector environments. Strong understanding of SaaS ERP governance, risk control and cross-supplier programme delivery. Demonstrated success delivering phased transformation within fixed timeframes.

Key Deliverables

Approved mobilisation plan, integrated delivery roadmap, successful Go-Live by April 2028, signed-off DM cycles, PPR completion, Hypercare transition documentation.
