We are currently working with an investor backed, highly acquisitive buy & build multisite business to recruit their Group Financial Controller.

This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and shape the finance function from day one whilst working directly with the founders.

HQ is based in West London with a working pattern of 4 days in the office, with sensible flex for one day from home for those days when you 'just need to get your head down'.

About the Role:

Own the group’s financial control (parent and individual sites).
Develop and implement robust financial reporting processes.
Deliver monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts.
Prepare and submit VAT returns (incl. partial VAT).
Support M&A and post-acquisition integration.
Create budgets and financial models.
Monitor cash flow and develop forecasting processes.
Prepare Board and investor reporting packs.

About You:

ACA qualified.
Circa 2-4 years’ post-qualification multisite industry experience.
Strong technical accounting and consolidation skills.
Hands-on and action orientated.
Confident using Xero, Excel, and management reporting tools.
VC-, PE-, or family-office-backed experience would be a plus.
Experience in a high growth, fast paced environment with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and motivated by building structure in a scaling business.
