We’re now entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager with 3–4 years of experience who’s ready to own and scale our marketing strategy from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership-track role, working directly with the founding team to build a high-impact digital marketing function that drives awareness, engagement, and growth.

This position would be one of our initial hires and have the unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a potential revolution in international trade. This role would be ideal for an ambitious individual who wants to be part of the high-risk-high-reward world of tech startups and take the next big step in their marketing career.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the creation of high-performing marketing copy across landing pages, registration journeys, ads (Meta, Google, LinkedIn), email campaigns, social media, and partner promotions.
Plan and execute multi-channel acquisition campaigns to drive registrations across paid and organic channels including search, social, retargeting, email, partnerships, and communities.
Manage campaign calendars and launches across multiple concurrent shows, coordinating closely with founders, sales, and external partners such as trade associations and industry bodies.
Develop PR and communications content including press releases, announcements, media outreach, and founder-led content to strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
Build and maintain a consistent brand voice for XpoFairs and each show, while crafting compelling value propositions for exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees.
Track and optimise marketing performance by implementing attribution and analytics (UTMs, GA4, pixels), running A/B tests, and producing clear reporting on registrations, campaign performance, and ROI.

Qualifications:

4+ years’ experience in digital marketing with demonstrable campaign performance and measurable outcomes.
Exceptional copywriting ability with a portfolio of work across campaigns, ads, landing pages, email marketing, PR, and other marketing assets.
Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels and acquisition channels, from awareness through registration and conversion.
Data-driven and commercially minded, comfortable analysing performance data, managing budgets, and making ROI-focused decisions.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining consistently high standards of written output.
Strong academic background and excellent written English, ideally with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Data Analytics, or a related discipline; confident using core business tools such as Excel and Microsoft Office.

 

Desirable Attributes:

Experience working in the events, exhibitions, or trade show industry, with an understanding of how to drive registrations and industry participation.
Familiarity with PR outreach and trade or industry publications.
Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM/ERP integrations.
Hands-on creative capability (basic design/video/editing) to speed up output.
