One of the top e-commerce powerhouse companies is looking for a Software Dev Engineer to join their Dallas, TX team!

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to design and build large-scale distributed systems that power critical services across the organization. This individual will play a key role in developing scalable applications, implementing modern AI-driven solutions, and delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with strong programming expertise, deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, and a passion for building reliable, scalable systems.

Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in the IT industry
Strong programming skills with experience in Java, Python, and TypeScript
Experience building and deploying applications within AWS infrastructure and architecture
Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies
Experience developing distributed applications using object-oriented design and design patterns
Experience working with SQL databases and middleware messaging systems

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deliver large-scale, distributed software applications and services
Build multi-tiered systems using Java, C++, Python, and TypeScript in Linux environments
Develop solutions using multi-threaded and distributed programming techniques
Work with JDBC, SQL, Oracle databases, and messaging systems to support scalable applications
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Own the development and delivery of key components or full applications within the system architecture
Serve as a technical lead on complex projects, applying engineering best practices and design standards
