About the Team & Impact

Join IBM Consulting to contribute to an AWS‑based data hub initiative, applying serverless patterns and event‑driven design to deliver secure, scalable data services.

You’ll collaborate across engineering and architecture to ship resilient data and API capabilities that support project 2GBD.

Responsibilities

Design serverless architectures on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions) to deliver reliable, scalable services for a data hub.
Build event‑driven workflows using EventBridge, SNS/SQS, and integrate Kafka where high‑throughput streaming is required.
Develop TypeScript‑based Lambdas and services, adhering to clean code and testable patterns.
Model & store data with DynamoDB and S3; query datasets via Athena; orchestrate ETL with Glue.
Containerize components where appropriate using ECS/ECR/Fargate for workloads that are not serverless‑friendly.
Automate infrastructure with Terraform for repeatable, versioned deployments.
Implement security controls (WAF, Cognito) and observability with CloudWatch across logs, metrics, and alerts.
Collaborate & communicate effectively across a consulting environment; deliver increments on time and with quality.
