Description

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as a Cybersecurity Data Loss Protection, Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company’s data. The role involves deploying and maintaining DLP technology, developing security policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Analyze data loss prevention alerts and incidents and respond immediately to data protection alerts
Collaborate with the security team and global stakeholders on new or emerging cyber threats to implement policies focused on mitigation
Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations
Support DLP engineers with testing, evaluation, and scoring of new technologies
Identify and improve processes through automation and defined measurements for ongoing program maturity
Support Incident Response activities as needed
Maintain an active awareness of cyber threats, countermeasure technologies, and industry trends. Follow-up on Cyber threat Intelligence reports to align controls to current threat environment
Develop, maintain, and standardize data protection response documentation following internal and industry best practices

What You Bring

At least 3-5 years of experience in Data Security Monitoring and Response
Proficient responding to alerts from SIEM detection and response technologies (i.e. CrowdStrike Data Protection/NextGen SIEM, Symantec, Sumologic)
Experience implementing controls and configuring policies for more than one DLP function (i.e. Data in Motion, Data at Rest, Data in Use, Internet Monitoring)
Experience with tooling for Microsoft Purview/Defender, CrowdStrike, Trellix, Proofpoint and/or other DSPM/CASB applications
Experience prompting AI as a supplemental tool in work processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and recommend effective solutions (through implementation of rules, automation or orchestration)
Strong verbal and written abilities to engage with technical and non-technical resources
Experience in a regulated environment and interacting with Audit, Compliance and Governance counterparts

Added bonus if you have  

Cyber Security relevant certifications including SSCP, Security+, CISSP, CCSP
Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF 2.0, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.
Cloud Security experience with CSPM and SSPM products
Experience grounding AI technology and/or implementation of Agentic AI solutions
Degree focused on Cyber Security, Top secret or Government clearance
