Duties & Role:

The incumbent will provide expert technical support as part of a Level 1/2 support team for NATO's deployable CIS systems (DCIS). Technical support will include incident management, service fulfilment, and problem management for NISC cyber hygiene services.

The detailed duties of the post are listed below:

Supporting the delivery of 3rd level technical support for IT and Data Management Services in DCIS and assuring availability of assigned services is in line with target of table 3.2
Supporting the performs fault diagnosis using the IT and Data Management Services Management System
Supporting to Supervise and carry out routine maintenance of IT and Data Management Services infrastructure, management appliances and other NATO IT and Data Management Services equipment
Supporting the completion of any changes to the system documentation
Supporting the completion of backups and restores of IT and Data Management Services devices
Supporting the performs remote fault diagnosis on IT and Data Management Services as required
Supporting the collaboration with the stakeholders, both internal and externals, as necessary, to coordinate efforts and ensure smooth execution of software support and development activities
Supports remediation activities for executed security Audits
Fulfils change management and incident resolution activities related to the assigned Area of Responsibility
Supporting the execution of the processes of Incident Management, Change Management and Release Management, as required, following the NCIA procedures and execute incident intervention/resolution within expected KPI's

Requirements

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
At least five years' experience with system security, security architecture, network security, risk management, vulnerability assessment and incident handling
Extensive working experience) with CIS security implementation with respect to network technologies, Firewalls, Virtual Private Networks, Intrusion Detection and Forensic Appliances;
Experience endpoint security of mobile devices such as Laptops, IOS, tablets and smartphones;
Vulnerability assessment team member/leader
Good knowledge and working experience of Public Key Infrastructure;
Knowledge of SCADA systems and experience in SCADA vulnerability assessments
Good knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
Excellent knowledge of, and experience using, common security tools Nessus, NMAP, ePO etc
Knowledge of common MS and Linux updating and patching systems
Knowledge of common IT security frameworks and governance models
Knowledge of CVSS V2 and V3
Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT
