Security Integration Architect (EU Security Clearance Required)

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – 2 days onsite / 3 days remote)

Duration: 12 month initial Contract

Rate: €450-€500 EUR/day (Gross)

Start: ASAP

Language: English (C1 level required)

Requirement: EU-27 Security Clearance eligibility

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Security Integration Architect in Brussels. The role focuses on designing and securing integration layers between backend systems and secure messaging platforms within a highly regulated EU environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar domain
Strong knowledge of core security principles
Expertise in document protection using PKI and X.509 certificates
Proficiency in web security technologies (TLS, OAuth2, OpenID)
Experience with Linux infrastructure operations
Proven experience conducting risk assessments and developing security plans
Excellent documentation skills
C1-level English proficiency

Key Responsibilities

As a Security Integration Architect, you will:

Design, architect, and implement secure integration layers between backend systems and messaging software
Provide expert guidance on confidentiality, integrity, authentication, authorization, non-repudiation, and availability
Support security testing and conduct vulnerability and risk assessments of messaging and data transfer systems
Optimize and maintain secure integration frameworks
Maintain and document technical specifications for transport and messaging protocols
Contribute to risk assessments and security planning activities

Must be security clearable (EU-27 Security Clearance)
