Job Title: Java Cloud Architect
Role Summary:
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud‑native solutions in a large enterprise context. Own end‑to‑end architecture, drive microservices adoption, and ensure alignment with enterprise frameworks (TOGAF). Act as a senior full‑stack technical lead, guiding teams through architectural decisions, migrations from monoliths, and deployment pipelines.
Expectations:
- 8+ years in IT architecture, microservices, and cloud‑native solution design.
- Advanced proficiency in Java (8–21), Jakarta EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
- 5+ years with Angular (2+) for modern UI development.
- Deep experience with containers, Docker, service discovery (Consul), and reverse proxies (NGINX).
- Proven expertise with Kafka, Oracle SOA Suite/ESB, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, Redis, Liquibase, Hibernate/JPA.
- Hands‑on with observability tools (Dynatrace, ELK, Grafana) and testing frameworks (JUnit, SoapUI).
- Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab), and IaC.
- Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design high‑level architectures and technical blueprints in line with TOGAF and enterprise standards.
2. Lead monolith‑to‑microservices transformations, including event‑driven and cloud‑native patterns.
3. Serve as Senior Full Stack Technical Lead: mentor teams, conduct design reviews, enforce best practices.
4. Architect system integrations via REST/SOAP, Kafka, and other middleware.
5. Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker container strategies, and IaC policies.
6. Utilize tools such as ArchUnit for architectural integrity and pull‑request level compliance.
7. Perform security assessments, implement OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and Vault solutions.
8. Oversee the full software lifecycle: feasibility, data modeling, dev, deployment, monitoring, tuning.
