Do you have 2+ years of experience in security accreditation for large-scale CIS projects? Apply now for a long-term contract opportunity in Brussels. This role is essential for ensuring mission-critical systems meet rigorous security standards throughout their full lifecycle.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in security accreditation or security architecture (6+ years required if no degree)
Mandatory active NATO Secret Clearance
Proven experience conducting security risk assessments and identifying vulnerabilities/residual risks
Deep knowledge of security accreditation documentation (e.g., Security Accreditation Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, STVPs)
Experience with secure solution architecture aligned with formal security directives (e.g., NATO Security Policy)
Background in witnessing security testing and coordinating remediation with governing authorities
Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISA (highly desirable)
Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise between project managers and security boards in a multicultural environment
Languages: English (fluent)

Job Description:

Provide security architecture guidance and ensure solutions are aligned with organisational security directives
Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation measures
Define, manage, and prioritise security accreditation requirements for major CIS projects
Develop and maintain essential accreditation documentation, including SOPs and Security Requirements
Support and witness security testing activities and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant stakeholders
Act as the primary advisor on accreditation matters to project managers and system owners
Represent the agency at Security Accreditation Boards and liaise with international military/civilian authorities
