The opportunity:

Hybrid: In office
Provide hands-on leadership in the development and customization of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
Guide the team in translating business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.
Lead integration efforts with core banking systems, document management platforms, analytics tools, and third-party data sources.
Champion development best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members. Partner with QA teams to ensure automated testing and quality control standards are met.
Work in Agile delivery teams to plan, prioritize, and execute on product backlog items.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our delivery practices, tools, and technologies.

What you need:

Must Have: 6+ years of Guidewire development experience (at least two of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, and Guidewire configuration (PCF, Data Model, Rules).
Proven leadership experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong integration skills with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and messaging platforms (Kafka, JMS).
Solid understanding of P&C insurance processes and systems.
Nice to Have: Experience with Azure or AWS, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (GUnit, Selenium) and performance testing tools.
Knowledge of Canadian insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
