We are seeking a Senior Specialist Office 365 (Freelance) for a 6-month project in Ghent. Join our client’s mission-critical modernization initiative and help shape a secure, scalable digital workplace for thousands of users.

Your expertise will directly impact the security, agility, and productivity of the organization, ensuring robust identity and access management, seamless Office 365 rollouts, and the adoption of best-in-class security frameworks. This is a pivotal role for those who want to drive real change and leave a legacy of secure, future-ready collaboration.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the implementation and optimization of Office 365 environments, focusing on security, identity, and application domains (including Entra ID, Conditional Access, app access, and security).
Drive the rollout and management of Office 365, ensuring seamless adoption and operational excellence.
Develop and enforce security policy frameworks within the M365 ecosystem, aligned with Zero Trust principles.
Deliver rapid programming assignments: coding, testing, debugging, and automating with PowerShell.
Provide operational and user support, document procedures and manuals, and monitor service health.
Collaborate in Agile teams, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.
Manage and optimize identity provider (IDP) solutions and IAM processes.
Implement and refine conditional access policies (Zero Trust implementation).
Leverage Microsoft Purview for compliance and data governance.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with Office 365 at a senior level.
Proven expertise with Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and identity management.
At least 3 years’ experience in security governance and developing security policy frameworks in M365 environments.
Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
Strong background in implementing and supporting Office 365 rollouts and management.
Operational support experience: user support, documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Experience with conditional access and Zero Trust security models.
Proven ability to manage IDP and IAM solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Purview for compliance and governance.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies.
Certification: SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator Associate) or MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator) is required.
Language: Dutch at European CEFR level C2 is mandatory.
