Job Specifications
The Professional Services Service Engagement Manager is a field‑facing RevOps role responsible for accelerating Professional Services opportunity velocity by acting as the deal expeditor between Sales, Delivery, and RevOps.
This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, hybrid (2 days a week) in Atlanta, GA. Local candidates only.
This role sits at the front end of the PS lifecycle, ensuring Professional Services engagements move fast, cleanly, and consistently from opportunity through SOW execution. The Service Engagement Manager removes friction, enforces standards, and provides clear ownership across the PS engagement process—without replacing Sales, Delivery, or SOW Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity & Deal Engagement
Act as the primary PS engagement point of contact for assigned region or accounts, aligned to Sales and PS leadership.
Maintain familiarity with the regional PS pipeline, key customers, sellers, and active opportunities to ensure proper context and prioritization.
Engage early in PS opportunities to ensure scope clarity, correct engagement structure, and execution readiness before SOW creation.
Velocity & Bottleneck Removal
Track Professional Services opportunities and SOWs in flight, identifying risks, delays, or ownership gaps.
Proactively remove bottlenecks by coordinating across Sales, Delivery, Service Engineering, Service Design, and SOW Operations.
Escalate issues appropriately using defined governance and priority signals when velocity or execution is at risk.
Standardization & Engagement Quality
Ensure PS engagements follow approved engagement architectures, standards, and productized offerings developed by RevOps and Service Engineering.
Reinforce use of standard accelerators, blueprints, and modular services where applicable to increase speed and predictability.
Partner with Service Engineering and Service Design to provide feedback on gaps, friction points, or emerging needs observed in the field.
Reporting & Visibility
Provide clear, periodic status reporting on PS opportunities, SOW progress, and engagement health to RevOps and PS leadership.
Support RevOps analytics by ensuring accurate, timely inputs related to opportunity stage, engagement type, and readiness signals.
Contribute to the RevPulse feedback loop, surfacing themes and improvement opportunities based on real‑world engagement experience.
Strategic & High‑Value Engagements
Support strategic PS opportunities, including large or complex deals, early‑stage assessments, and engagements with clear downstream expansion potential.
Adjust engagement intensity based on priority signals, ensuring high‑value opportunities receive the appropriate level of oversight and acceleration.
