Job Specifications

NOTE: HYBRID, 2 days/week onsite in Montreal, Quebec

Contract: 4 Months with possibility of extension

Skills: 5 plus years QA Analyst or QA Automation Engineer, manual testing, test planning, defect tracking, automation testing an asset, Selenium, JIRA, Agile, bilingual English French

Hours: 35 hours per week

Description

o Responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions

o Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and specifications

o Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases ensuring coverage of all functional and non functional requirements

o Execute manual tests to ensure the product meets intended specifications

o Identify document and track bugs through to resolution using JIRA

o Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

o Analyze test results to discover and report on defects and inconsistencies

o Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

o Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test plans test cases and test scripts

o Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to QA processes and methodologies

Requirements

o Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or QA Analyst with strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools

o Minimum 5 years experience

o Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem solving skills

o Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously

o Experience with automated testing tools is an asset for example Selenium

o Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is an asset

o Strong communication skills written and verbal

o Bilingual English French

Experience with the following will be considered an asset:

o Automation testing tools

o JIRA

o Selenium

o Experience working within Category Management environments
