Overview of our Tech Team

Purpose of the Role
You will play a key role in supporting the Zego IT infrastructure & users both at the London office and via the helpdesk.
You will ensure Zego employees and visitors have an amazing IT experience at our London office
You will provide outstanding Level 1 support via the helpdesk and in person
You will drive equipment procurement, provisioning and logistics
You will create a seamless onboarding experience for new starters
Key responsibilities
Provide comprehensive helpdesk support, assisting colleagues with troubleshooting IT issues and resolving technical problems
Escalate complex or unresolved issues from the helpdesk to Level 2 or Senior Engineers in a timely and accurate manner
Deliver on-site technical support, including equipment setup, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance
Play a key role in assisting the Zego Events Team by providing technical assistance and support for internal and external events
Conduct IT inductions for new employees, guiding them through the company's IT systems, InfoSec policies and procedures
Manage the procurement, provisioning, deprovisioning and logistics of IT equipment and users, including Macs, iPhones, iPads and Zoom room equipment
Responsible for physical meeting room maintenance and providing rapid on-site support as required
Ensure employees have the necessary tools and resources to perform their roles effectively
Support audits by providing relevant IT documentation, reports, and access to systems as required
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of runbooks and knowledge-base articles, documenting processes and solutions for future reference

You will understand that excellent service delivery allows employees to perform at their best.
You will possess excellent stakeholder management and technical skills and will work both independently and collaboratively with the TechOps team to optimise IT processes and enhance efficiency
You are required to work full-time, five days a week, from our London office. Our office is conveniently located near Monument underground station, providing easy access to various transportation links across the city
What you bring to the Team
The ability to effectively manage workload, prioritise tasks based on urgency and importance, and consistently deliver results within deadlines
A keen eye for detail and capable of producing high-quality documentation that is accurate, clear, and well-organised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling clear and effective interaction with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders
A genuine interest in technology and stays up-to-date with emerging trends and developments
Consistently puts the customer's needs first and strives to provide exceptional service and support
Proven experience in Workplace IT support. While not essential, any familiarity with Google Workspace, Okta, and AI or automation tools is a significant plus
