Medical Information Specialist

£65.00 per hour Umbrella

Part time hours (10-20 hours per week)

12 Month Contract

Our client is currently searching for a Medical Information Specialist to join their team in Reading on a part time basis.

Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert and critically evaluate scientific literature to ensure timely and accurate responses to medical inquiries from customers around the globe.
Understand analytics and insight generation framework while building foundational analytical skills to support informed decision-making.
Assist in developing training materials and delivering product training
Proficiently use digital tools to enhance daily operations.

Experience / Skills Required

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in medical information, medical affairs, or related fields.
Experience in Women's Healthcare and Cardiovascular
University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or equivalent. (Advanced degree [e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD] preferred, not essential.)
Experience responding to medical inquiries in writing, preferred Experience in developing medical information content (local or global), conducting critical reviews and demonstrating strong medical writing skills is an asset
Proven experience working in digital databases. Experience with Veeva, salesforce, AI, Power BI is an asset.
Experience contributing to cross-functional teams.
Experience in supporting projects that improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Excellent spoken and written English; fluency in other languages is an asset.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to building positive partnerships.
