Job Title - Business Analyst III

Location - Austin, TX (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Business Analyst III on behalf of our client in Austin, TX. This hybrid role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in requirements gathering, data analysis, testing, and Agile methodologies. The selected candidate will support web-based application initiatives and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for web-based applications.
Develop and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs) to ensure complete requirement coverage.
Create UI mock-ups and actively participate in design discussions with stakeholders and technical teams.
Write comprehensive test cases and test scripts to validate system functionality.
Execute testing for web services and batch processing jobs.
Perform data analysis using SQL to support application functionality, validation, and reporting needs.
Collaborate within Agile teams throughout the project lifecycle, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Support quality assurance efforts and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in requirements gathering and testing for web-based applications.
5+ years of experience performing SQL-based data analysis.
5+ years of experience creating UI mock-ups.
5+ years of experience developing and maintaining Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
5+ years of experience writing test cases and test scripts.
5+ years of experience testing batch jobs and web services.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Must be based in or near Austin, TX and available for a hybrid work schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Agile environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience supporting public sector or large enterprise environments is a plus.
