Job Specifications

We're recruiting for a Azure platform Architect on behalf of our client, an amazing global IT company with clients in the Financial services and investment industries.

This is a hybrid role in Toronto, Ontario requiring 3 days in office/ week.

Qualifications

Architectural Design Define and implement robust, secure, and scalable Azure cloud architectures, including Azure Landing Zones for multi-account environments.
IaC Implementation Develop and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, or CDKTF.
CI/CD Automation Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Cloud Governance Security Implement security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, network security, and governance frameworks.
Optimization Migration Plan and execute cloud migrations (on premises to Azure) and monitor infrastructure performance for cost optimization.
Experience Cloud Platforms Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure.
IaC Automation Strong proficiency in Terraform (required) and Bicep Pulumi (preferred).
CI/CD Tools Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Scripting Languages Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
Infrastructure Skills Solid understanding of Azure networking, compute, storage, and identity services
