Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Assurance Manager, based in Halle, with the flexibility to work from home on certain days. As a Quality Assurance Manager you will be responsible for setting up, managing and improving the entire quality policy within a Configure to Order (CTO) organisation. The focus is on quality assurance in engineering, assembly and service, on supplier quality and on reducing the Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ). Continuous improvement is a foundational element of this role.

Some of your tasks include:

Lead the quality strategy & ISO system.
Improve engineering quality (BOMs, specs, ECR/ECO).
Strengthen FAT/SAT frameworks & quality gate.
Drive 8D, CAPA, NCR management & FPY improvements.
Boost supplier and customer quality.
Support audits and ensure compliance.
Lead the central Quality team.
Advise the CFO on quality risks & financial impact.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Compliance
Experience with Process Improvement and Data Analysis methodologies
Leadership abilities, including Team Management and Collaboration skills
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving capabilities
Strong CTO knowledge
Proficient in Documentation, Reporting, and maintaining accurate records
Excellent communication skills to liaise between teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in quality standards (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) are advantageous
Familiarity with the latest quality assurance tools and technologies
You are fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
