Program Overview

About The Role

McKesson Canada is seeking a Summer Intern to join our CRM & Marketing Solutions team within McKesson Technology. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student who is passionate about technology, problem‑solving, and learning how enterprise platforms support customer care and sales operations in a healthcare environment.

As a Summer Intern, you will gain hands‑on exposure to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, working alongside experienced Salesforce administrators, developers, and business partners. You’ll contribute to real initiatives while building foundational skills in CRM platforms, agile delivery, and enterprise IT practices.

This role is designed as a learning experience, with mentorship, structured onboarding, and meaningful work throughout the summer.

What You’ll Do

With guidance and support from the team, you will:

Assist with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration activities (e.g., fields, page layouts, reports, basic automations)
Support testing and user acceptance activities for Salesforce enhancements and releases
Help document business processes, system configurations, and user guides
Participate in incident and request triage, learning how enterprise support models work
Assist with data quality and reporting tasks, including reviewing dashboards and basic analytics
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including IT, business analysts, and product owners
Participate in agile ceremonies such as team stand‑ups and sprint reviews
Learn how Salesforce supports customer care, sales, and operational teams across McKesson Canada

What You’ll Learn

Practical experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
How large organizations deliver and support enterprise CRM platforms
Exposure to agile delivery, change management, and governance
Professional skills such as communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving in a corporate environment
Insight into technology careers within healthcare and pharmaceutical distribution

Who You Are

You are a motivated student who is eager to learn and curious about how technology enables business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Canadian post‑secondary program (college or university) in:
Computer Science
Information Systems / Information Technology
Engineering
Business Technology Management
Or a related field
Available to work full‑time for the duration of the summer term
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable learning new tools and technologies
Detail‑oriented with a willingness to ask questions and seek feedback

Nice To Have (Not Required)

Exposure to Salesforce, CRM platforms, or Trailhead modules
Basic understanding of sales, customer service, or case management concepts
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum from coursework or group projects
Previous co‑op, internship, or part‑time experience in a technical or analytical role
