Our Client, A Major Insurance Enterprise, is seeking an IT Operational Specialist to support key cybersecurity and operational initiatives by managing risk assessment coordination, access governance, and program administration across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling onboarding, system access controls, and cross-functional coordination while helping streamline processes and support evolving cyber readiness efforts.

This is a 6 Month W2 Contract (open to extension/conversion)

This is Hybrid (3x onsite in Hartford CT)

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and track contract-level risk assessments, ensuring supplier risk alignment and questionnaire completion
Support software request tracking, approvals, billing validation, and SOW governance
Manage onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning/deprovisioning, AD groups, and VM requests
Conduct quarterly access reviews and ensure appropriate access controls
Partner with Cyber leadership to gather and organize Quantum readiness data from strategic partners
Provide general operational support, including visa documentation, event coordination, and maintaining supplier records

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with access management, onboarding/offboarding, or IT administration preferred
Familiarity with Fieldglass or similar provisioning tools is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Effective written communicator comfortable working cross-functionally
Self-directed, detail-oriented, and open to leveraging AI tools to improve productivity
