Our Client are currently looking for an Instrumentation & Controls / Life Saving Systems Commissioning Engineer for a Data Centre - expat assignment in India

Duration: 1-3 years

Location: based on site in India; Mumbai or Hyderabad

Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

Rotation : 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Start date: spring 2026

6–10+ years in datacentre controls commissioning (BMS/EPMS)

Role purpose

Deliver integrated controls commissioning across BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and PLCs to ensure stable operation, correct sequencing, alarming, trending, reporting, and cybersecurity-aligned access controls.

Key responsibilities

Validate controls architecture, points lists, naming conventions, and network topology.
Commission sequences of operation for mechanical and electrical systems.
Ensure correct alarming, event handling, trend logs, dashboards, and operator workflows.
Coordinate integration between OEM controls and site-wide BMS/EPMS.
Support IST by scripting scenarios and verifying system responses.

Required experience

6–10+ years in datacentre controls commissioning (BMS/EPMS)
Strong understanding of Modbus/BACnet, industrial networking, and systems integration
