Job Description:
The client is seeking a Senior Drupal Application Tester to lead Quality Assurance (QA) efforts for complex Drupal-based websites supporting Members, Committees, and Leadership offices. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure functionality, accessibility, security, performance, and compliance across enterprise web platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex Drupal 10.x and 11.x environments
• Perform manual and automated testing (e.g., Playwright, Selenium WebDriver 4.x)
• Conduct regression, usability, performance, cross-browser, and responsive design testing
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/2.2 accessibility standards; test using tools such as JAWS, NVDA, TalkBack, and VoiceOver
• Test Drupal workflows, permissions, content types, taxonomies, module interactions, themes, and multi-site configurations
• Validate integrations, third-party APIs, content migrations (Drupal 10 to 11), search functionality, and data integrity
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to debug and resolve issues related to HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, PHP, SharePoint, and related technologies
• Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies, requirements reviews, and product planning sessions
• Produce QA documentation, reports, metrics, and executive-ready presentations
• Recommend and implement QA best practices, tools, and process improvements
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of IT and software QA experience, including 4+ years testing Drupal-based websites
• Expertise in functional, regression, usability, and performance testing methodologies
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.1/2.2)
• Experience with automation frameworks and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp)
• Familiarity with Drupal architecture, modules, themes, and content management structures
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
