This is a W2 based role.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain web-based applications and portals for housing department programs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to enhance system functionality.
Support front-end and back-end web development tasks.
Assist with application enhancements, testing, and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
Work with existing legacy systems and support modernization initiatives.
Participate in documentation and knowledge transfer activities.
Follow government compliance and security standards during development.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

Experience in web development (Junior to Mid-level).
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with modern web frameworks or libraries.
Ability to support both front-end and back-end development tasks.
Experience working in government or public-sector environments.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

Experience working with housing, public sector, or municipal systems.
Knowledge of legacy system modernization.
Familiarity with secure coding practices.
Experience in Agile or structured SDLC environments.
Previous experience with City or State government agencies.
