Job Specifications

QA Tester (Fintech / Payments) – Contract

London - Remote / Hybrid

⏳ 3 Months Initial

£175–£200 per day (London) OUTSIDE IR35

I’m looking for a hands-on QA Tester with a payments / fintech background to join on an initial 3-month contract, working directly with the CTO and external consultants.

You must be comfortable going beyond surface-level testing — diving into APIs, databases and logs, and tracing issues end-to-end.

Key requirements:

Strong manual and/or automated testing of complex web apps
Experience testing Java / Spring Boot backends
REST API testing (Postman / Swagger etc.)
Strong SQL skills
React / Next.js frontend testing experience
AWS familiarity (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch)
Docker / Kubernetes exposure

Fintech or payments experience is essential.
