We’re looking for a talented Senior IT Engineer to play a key role in supporting and enhancing our IT infrastructure and cloud environments. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, driving technology improvements, and working across both cloud and on‑premise platforms.
About the Role
As a Senior IT Engineer, you’ll design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure—primarily using Microsoft Azure. You’ll take ownership of technical operations, provide 2nd and 3rd line support, and help shape the future of the organisation’s technology landscape.
Working closely with the wider IT and project teams, you’ll also contribute to cloud migration initiatives, lead infrastructure changes, and ensure systems remain high‑performing, secure, and compliant.
What You’ll Do
Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Provide 2nd/3rd line operational support, resolving complex technical issues.
Deliver and support IT infrastructure projects, upgrades, and change initiatives.
Manage system performance, availability, and cost optimisation.
Oversee endpoint and vulnerability management, ensuring timely remediation.
Support disaster recovery testing and security compliance.
Maintain technical documentation and drive improvements across IT operations.
Stay ahead of technology trends and recommend innovative solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (preferred).
ITIL V4 Foundation certification (minimum).
Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) certification (preferred).
3+ years’ experience supporting Microsoft Servers (2012–2019), Active Directory, and Windows 11.
Experience managing Azure environments and Office 365 (including Teams).
Strong technical experience with VMware, SAN, and general network administration.
Familiarity with automation, monitoring, and endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM, Dynatrace, and Tenable.
