ADVANCE® AI is looking for a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical conversations to help shape how AI analyses, evaluates, and coaches real HCP–Representative interactions. This is not a traditional training or field role — it’s an opportunity to design the behavioural logic powering next-generation conversational intelligence.

ADVANCE®AI provides pharma leaders everyday visibility of the quality of the conversations taking place between their field-based teams and Health Care Professionals (HCPs)

This role sits within our Innovation Lab, working directly with the Founder of ADVANCE® AI on a daily basis for the first six months to learn and understand all of the institutional knowledge behind our product innovation and development and Engineering Team – collaborate on product development and delivery with cross-functional squads within the engineering team including AI experts within the team. For the first six months, you’ll immerse yourself in the product, technology, and AI techniques that underpin our solutions. Following knowledge transfer, you’ll contribute to a cross-functional team responsible for product innovation and delivery.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Behavioural Specialist at ADVANCE®AI. The Behavioural Specialist will analyze behavioural trends and patterns among HCPs, provide insights to optimize communication strategies, and contribute to the development of sentiment analysis models. The role encompasses collecting, interpreting, and presenting data for internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on behaviour science and industry trends to refine methodologies.

You will:

Apply deep pharmaceutical expertise to inform AI product development
Design behavioural frameworks that teach AI how to recognise and evaluate selling behaviours
Write and refine prompts that shape AI analysis (full training provided)
Review AI outputs and iteratively improve behavioural logic
 Compare AI-generated insights against expert human judgement to assess behavioural accuracy and usefulness. 
Identify patterns, gaps, and failure modes in AI outputs and provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams. 
Translate messy, real-world conversations into structured, scalable evaluation models
Work in an experimental, exploratory environment shaping a new discipline

Who We’re Looking For

You may have experience in:

Pharmaceutical sales leadership
First Line Management (FLM)
Learning & Development
Capability development or coaching roles

You bring:

Deep experience in pharmaceutical selling, coaching, capability development, first line management, or learning and development roles. 
Strong understanding of communication, influence, and behaviour change in real HCP-Representative interactions. 
Strong behavioural insight — you can explain why a conversation worked or didn’t
A methodical, structured problem-solving mindset
Comfort working in ambiguity and experimentation
Curiosity and interest in applying AI in practical ways
Ability to accurately interpret conversations and explain what is happening behaviourally and why. 
Natural problem-solver who enjoys puzzles, patterns, logic, and making sense of complexity. 
Comfortable breaking down messy, human conversations into clear structures and explanations. 
Imaginative and inventive thinker who enjoys designing new approaches rather than following fixed rules. 
Bi-lingual or fluency in more than one language 

No technical background required. We’ll teach you the AI.

The ideal candidate will be a strong L&D professional within the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry with experience of working with behavioural frameworks alongside either a successful career in pharmaceutical sales or experience in coaching, mentoring and managing pharmaceutical sales professionals. An interest in AI and Technology will set you at an advantage for this role.
