Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Lead with deep expertise in SAP BW/BW on HANA and strong leadership skills to drive end to end delivery. The ideal candidate will lead the BW team, manage solution design, ensure data quality, and work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, high performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP BW/BW on HANA solutions
• Architect data models, ETL flows, data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
• Ensure optimal performance tuning for BW objects, queries, and data loads
• Review technical design documents, code, and configuration produced by the team
Team & Delivery Management
• Lead and mentor a team of SAP BW developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Allocate work, review progress, and provide technical coaching
• Conduct daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and ensure timely delivery
• Collaborate with offshore resources using overlap hours to maintain smooth progress
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
• Work closely with business users to understand reporting and analytics requirements
• Translate business needs into scalable BW solutions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams—SAP functional, BASIS, security, and data teams
• Manage communication, risk escalation, and status reporting
Project Execution
• Lead BW enhancements, data migrations, and new project implementations
• Support UAT, production cutover, and go-live activities
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and change management processes
• Drive continuous improvement across BW landscapes

Required Skills & Experience
• 8–12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/BW on HANA
• Strong expertise in:
o InfoObjects, ADSOs, CompositeProviders
o ETL, DataSource extraction (ECC/S4, APIs, flat files, CDS views)
o BW Queries, Analysis for Office, BEx tools
o HANA modeling (Attribute Views, Calculation Views)
• Experience leading teams and managing onshore/offshore delivery
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps processes
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills

• Exposure to S/4HANA embedded analytics
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) for data integration
