We are looking for

A Dutch-speaking analyst for projects for the Flemish government (NL). At least five years of experience for a long assignment. The analyst is part of a team of developers, architects, test analysts, project leaders and fellow analysts in an Agile team. The developments are taking place in Java and the analyses are written in Dutch.

Your role

As an IT Analyst, you are an important pivot in a project. Customers come to you with their digitization questions and wishes that you convert into a workable concept that the developers can work with. You closely follow up projects to bring them to a successful conclusion together with your colleagues.

More specifically, you understand the business of the stakeholders and translate this into process analyses. You are responsible for defining and assessing the needs in order to be able to model the issues into a functional and/or technical design. In close consultation with the customer and your team members, you consider the quality requirements, the impact and risks, the security of the application, etc.

After the functional design, you give direction to the developers by thoroughly informing and guiding them throughout the entire development process. In addition to coordination, you also keep an eye on quality and inform the project manager about evolutions that may affect the project. You don't lose sight of the customer's priorities.

As an IT Analyst, you understand the needs of the customer and it is obvious that you assist the developers on the basis of the design and execution of functional tests so that the final result meets the requirements of the customer. You also support the stakeholders by providing them with the necessary documentation and training.

Your profile

You have a master's or bachelor's degree in an economic or technical field with a first great experience in the IT sector. You have built up a certain technical baggage in, for example, analysis methods, RUP, Scrum, data management, development, ....

You are an excellent discussion partner on different levels. Your strong communication skills make you the ideal mediator between the stakeholders and the IT experts.

You are typified by an analytical and synthetic mind.

From your organizational ability and your team orientation, you know how to tackle projects in a structured way. With your sense of efficiency, flexibility and quality, you make the difference.
